Your Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the Budo System. Through competition, real life situations, trial and tribulation they have become qualified and experienced instructors. Now they enjoy sharing their skills and passing it on to their students.
Rodney Jaime (Chief Instructor)
Rodney began his training in Budo in 1988 while in the United States Marine Corp as a Rifleman. In 1991 he began training in Aikido. Returning home to Texas he received Shodan in 1996, 1st Degree Black Belt in Tomiki Ryu Aikido under the study of Dennis Dorris Sensei and recognized by Karl Geis Sensei of Fugakukai International Association. He holds the rank of Nidan, 2nd Degree Black Belt through the Aikido World Alliance, Hombu Dojo Japan. Furthering his study of Budo he trains and has competed in Judo as a Nidan, 2nd Degree Black Belt. He won a Silver Medal in the 2001 Masters National Judo Championship. He is a Life Member of the United States Judo Association. In 2006 he while attending an International Judo Camp he became a Certified Instructor/Coach; As a requirement he has had a Background Check. Expanding to other Budo areas he is a Certified Chanbara Instructor. In addition to martial arts, Rodney has been in law enforcement for over 17 years, graduate of Basic SWAT School, Police Instructor, Anti-Terrorist Instinctive Driving Instructor, Special Response Hard Team Memeber, Drug Recognition Expert and a Certified Mental Health Officer. The laws of physics play a large role in the manipulation of energy, kinesiology is the study of body movement. Aikido is Harmonizing Energy or applied kinesiology. Understanding the physics of flight relates to the dynamic movement of the human body. As a Certified Flight Instructor this experience goes hand in hand onto the mat.

Heidi Cummins (Instructor - Nidan)
Heidi began her training in 1991. She has trained in Guam, Hawaii, California and finally home to Texas. She has been recently promoted to Nidan, 2nd Degree Black Belt. She has influenes from Ki Society and Aikido Association of America. She is currently training with Aikido World Alliance under Sato Sensei. She is also a Certified Chanbara Instructor. Her Aikido is strongly influenced by her artistic abilities.
